Go Ask Alice Reviewer: Anonymous from Canada Date: 2/19/2003 8:31:40 PM this book is one of the best books i have ever read. i am not the type to read but this book definitely caught my eye. i am only 13 years old but i think every girl around my age should read this book. it is about a teenage girl going through the experiences of drugs and people my age are going to end up sooner or later being introduced to drugs so it really helps you think about things like that. i think adults should also read this because i feel they would enjoy this book also. it really made me think...not only about drugs but what this girl went through and what could happen to me some day if i get involved with drugs. there are not enough words to describe this book so my final words will be this book is worth the money and you should buy it. 2. The stunning diary entries of a teen's trip into a world of pain, both emotionally and physically, can bring tears to your eyes. I always knew drugs where a horrible thing I never wanted to get mixed up in. I knew they were bad but I still fancied at the thought of trying them just to make myself feel better. After reading this book my whole aspect on drugs changed. It made me see what can happen to someone who does them by accident and how controlling they can truly be. I really enjoyed the book and believe every preteen should read it before they get mixed up and swallowed by a life of nercotics they probably don't understand much about. 3. It is a good example of life in todays society and teaches us a lesson. Alice was the kind of person that had at least one quality we can all relate to. I think teens, parents or anyone of any age should read this book. One warning though, once you pick it up good luck on putting it down!! 4. As I read the first few pages, I knew it was different. The words and feelings of Alice are so life-like, so true- this diary is full of thoughts that an adult could never write about.
