Returns Policy NEW! You can now return your online purchases to us for a full refund OR to any Chapters or Indigo Store for an in-store Credit Note card. Returning to chapters.indigo.ca: Chapters.indigo.ca wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with any item, you may return it within 30 days of shipment. Please note that gift certificates and the purchase or renewal fee for reward memberships are non-refundable. All books and other products must be returned in their original condition. If your order arrives damaged, please return it immediately, following our on-line returns procedure. To obtain a replacement, you will have to place a second order. Returning Books, Video, DVDs, Music & Giftware: To process your return, please follow the steps below to obtain a return shipment label: Go to your order history . Log in with your user id (e-mail address) and password. Simply select the order that contains the items that you would like to return. Please note that we can only generate return shipment labels for items that have shipped. Click on the request return button on the top of the order history details page. On the request return page, click in the box beside the items that you want to return. A check mark will appear in the box. Please identify the quantity and condition of the items, as well as, a reason for requesting a return. Click on the return details summary button to obtain an estimated value of the items you want to return. The returns summary will also indicate certain items that are not returnable. After reviewing the summary, click on the request label button and follow the instructions that follow. Once you have printed your pre-paid return shipping label, affix it to the outside of the parcel to be returned, ensuring that the invoice is enclosed. Please note: Not all items are returnable. We reserve the right to verify return product information before issuing a return credit. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment to the items you are returning. Unless we made an error in order processing or shipping, return shipping fees will apply. For your convenience, shipping charges will be automatically deducted from your refund amount. Returning to a Chapters or Indigo Store: Chapters or Indigo will happily give you an in-store Credit Note card equal to the value of your online purchase when you: Return new books, unopened CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs and Giftware in their original condition. Present your receipt (packing slip). Return within 30 days of shipment date (on packing slip). Please note: Rare and Out of Print Books are not returnable. Shipping charges are not refundable.
