POSITION : Café Staff REPORTING TO : Café Manager IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Preparing food and beverage using pre-determined recipes. Operating the cash register using existing pricing formulas. Processing orders of incoming product and ensures proper storage requirements are satisfied. This activity may require lifting objects up to twenty-five pounds. Preparing for the floor each by walking the store, attending meetings and reading communications to update your knowledge of product, services, trends, displays and What's New, What's Hot and café stock levels so that you are ready to serve the customers. Making the customers feel welcome and comfortable in the store by greeting them. Satisfying our customers by determining and responding to their needs to ensure the Indigo Service Guarantee is consistently delivered. Educating the customer on Indigo's products and services and enrich their experience in our store. Maintaining stock levels and quality of presentation and cleanliness throughout the store consistent with Indigo retail process standards. Supporting other café staff as required to ensure the quality of customer experience in the store. Making recommendations to Café Assistant Manager or Café Manager for changes or improvements in the store or in the merchandise and service based on feedback or ideas from customers. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: Strong interest in pursuing a career in a café environment with some experience in people management preferred Effective communications skills; a strong and natural service orientation Ability to earn the confidence and support of others; strong demonstrated interaction skills Ability to lift up to twenty five pounds Computer literate High Energy; highly organized; detailed oriented; enthusiastic; team player THEN: We invite you to share in our success and apply for a career filled with possibilities.
